Fog is nice in the City. Perhaps even better in Nature.

What a breathtaking sunrise!
It was something special all right.
Sadly, this time of year here, a morning fog is because autumn is coming. Always a sad time for me because summer is so very short here.
I feel you. My beloved hometown of Lahti, Finland is as north as Anchorage, Alaska. So we pretty much have similar summers and winters here. i.e. too short summer with lots of light and too long dark winter.
