Snow on the ground, winter is here. I took my spiked shoes outta closet. Every year first aids are full of people with broken wrists and hips and whut not. Don´t wanna be one of those people.

An Immigrant

I thought photography was invented in1822. This photo proves other wise. Vikings ruled from 8th to 11th century. It´s a fact that vikings visited my neck of woods back in a day.  From my home it´s some 7km away where they sailed through Porvoo River. Have you ever met a viking? I have. 🙃

High, high, yes sir.

 Duckboards leading to the highest hill of southern Finland, it´s 223m. high (measured from sea level).  Tiirismaa it´s called. The tv/radio/mobile/internet mast is whopping 327m. high. It shares the tallest stucture status in Finland with one other tv/radio/etc. mast. More info in their Wikipedia linked above, it´s in Finnish so Google translator ahoy if interested.
