Always wondered what this means. A bullie threw someone´s sneakers there? Am I walking on somebody´s drug turf? Some say skaters marks their territory with these. I have no glue what so ever.
Hopefully not what it meant in my old city. There it was said to mean drugs could be bought. I always wondered if that was true, or just teens throwing "friends" shoes up!
I not only saw shoes hanging everywhere but someone up North decorated a mailbox with old sneakers. What a hoot! I honestly don't know why folks throw shoes helter skelter. Probably the challenge of throwing it there.
I wonder how many throws it took to get the sneakers up there.
ReplyDeleteMe too (no pun intented).

DeleteSneaker catcher.
ReplyDeleteGood one. 👍
DeleteFunny but here in the Netherlands the youth is doing the same. Especially if they passed their exams for anything.
ReplyDeleteI once saw a tree on a school yard filled with shoes. Now I know why. Thank you for it!
