Happy to see me?

This Parisian (?) was not happy to see me and my camera. I believe that in France it´s forbitten to photograph anybody in public place without permission. At least it used to be so, don´t know if it´s still so. 

In Finland you can - pretty much - photograph anything you like in public places. One can´t expect privacy in public places. If you publish them there´s some limitations. You can´t publish pics of minor(s) without parental premission. And it´s forbitten to publish somebody in dire in that way he/she is regonized. But that´s about it. How is it in your neck of the wood I wonder.

A bus ride

On my way to work I noticed this black lady in the bus. Her hair was what I was admiring. I seriously doupt that it´s not her natural hair. Either way; her hair looked very nice. I accidently paparazzed piece of me too (no pun intented). You can see part  of my tattooed forearm and my pink t-shirt´s sleeve on the right side of the pic. Click for bigger pic and better view.

Drought

End result of very little rain. These trees has dropped plenty of leafs. And it ain´t autumn yet. It´s 25C outside, yesterday was even more than that. But change is coming, this sould be the last warm day this summer. Let´s enjoy it. 😎

I though that swings are for kids, apparently I was wrong. This fellow was more interested in his manicure than his child. I see the desert is advancing in our yard. 😁 More gravel, less grass. Yeah.

I was waiting for a bus with this older woman. She had bags full of groceries in her walker. And she was smoking a cigarette. (It was in her left hand, not visible in the photo.) A bad habit that might kill you. Then again; if one has to die it´s prety much all the same what he/she dies from. End result is the same. Says a cynic smoker i.e. me.

Wordless Wednesday

Hottest weather in 60 years this late in summer. No wonder I can´t remember anything like this. How hot it was? It was 31,1C (88F) less than 30km (18.6 miles) away from my current location i.e. just around the corner I´d say. Climate Change ahoy!       My Corner of the World

Lucky Shot

This fellow has reflections of his smart phone screen in his sunglasses. I was very lucky, didn´t see it in real life because I was looking down at my small smart phone screen. Unrepeatable by paparazz means I figure. Could do it if  I was openly - and with permission - photographing him though. But yeah, I like it. Should do lottery this week and see if my luck holds.

No Shit?

Grass is all burned up with the heat what we´ve had this summer. And it hadn´t rained that much. Birches are dropping yellow leafs and it´s not autumn yet. No bueno. Climate Change in my Hood anno Domini 2022. Tomorrows New Normal is already here. Yes Shit.

I´m Finnish (street)photographer. I document small little things around me. Just your everyday life, nothing too fancy. I use both smart phone and DSRL for my photos. 

This poor fella tried to roll a cigarette by using left hand only. Looked helpless. Would´ve helped him but my bus was just coming so.. He had a beer at hand. Good for him, it was bloody hot. I was lurking in the shadow for just that reason.
