I went to my local grocery at the break of dawn. It had snowed during the night, 15cm of snow to paddle in. And more was coming. Hard to see in da pic but it´s there. Barely visible in the street lights. Grocery is only 200m away from my home but I was like a freaking snowman by the time I got home. That wet snow really sticks to your clothes like a super glue. Niin oli täälläkin maa valkeana, kun heräsin 11.30. Taidan pysytellä sisällä, ettei minusta tule lumiakkaa.
ReplyDeleteTäällä pyryttää edelleen, karsea keli. Onnex ei tarvi lähtä kotoa mihinkään.
DeleteToo bad you needed to go out, even a short distance can be too far sometimes.
ReplyDeleteYou can say that again.
DeleteWow, brings back memories. I grew up in the snow in the western USA and do not miss it one bit!! Great photo though!
ReplyDeleteThank you Yogi♪♪♪! Snow looks good in photos but it´s not always a pleasure to live with. I fully understand you not missing it.
DeleteYour photo makes me feel better about not having the usual allotment of snow so far this year.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy. 🙂
DeleteNice one. I can feel the cold and dampness from the wet snow.
ReplyDeleteThanks Peter! I´m glad you don´t have to feel it in person.
Deleteit looks cold
ReplyDeleteit wasn´t all that cold. But it depends in what you´re comparing it to.
DeleteI can feel the experience you went through with snow. BTW, the picture is nicely captured too.
ReplyDeleteThank you Amila!
DeleteWow! What a scenery. Thats massive snow
ReplyDeleteBusiness as usual in Finnish winter.
DeleteNice hues in the sky.
ReplyDeleteThe Blue Hour.
DeleteBrrrr.....looks cold there. Barren. Lonely. Excellent photograph of the blue hour at the Market. I like how one vehicle faces the snow bank and the other car is parked near the evergreen trees. I also like how the street lights take the viewer out of the scene.
ReplyDeleteThank you very much for your kind words!
