What? Wikipedia page of it can be found here. Todays paper has this story about the subject matter. It´s in Finnish so I won´t link it here. As it happens I photographed these canned tunas while back.
Basicly it´s about how to srcew people when they´re shopping. Product itself has srinken but the prize doesn´t drop as much in comparison i.e. it´s actually more expensive. This pisses me off, big time. But what can one do? Go to another shop? They do it too so.. It should be illegal but for some odd reason it´s not. Fucking market economy. Rich people exploits poor people. It´s so unfair. Any thoughts on this?
Onpa hyvin havainnollistava kuva aiheesta.
ReplyDeleteJep. Kuvasin tämän kolmisen viikkoa sitten. Muistui mieleen kun luin Ilta - Sanomien artikkelin aiheesta. Eli muutkin tuntuvat olevan tarkkana kaupassa. Mutta jos alkaisit joka tuotteen syynäämään tarkasti niin kauppareissu venyisi melkoisesti. Onhan tämä ihan törkeätä kusetusta. Mutta minkäs teet?
Delete...many only care about price.
ReplyDeleteIf one would check every item closely your 5min. shopping turns into 30min. That what croceries are counting on. Them bastards..
DeleteThe same here too! Unfortunately.
ReplyDeleteGreed of money - and power - is universal phenomenon. It bring out the worst aspects of humans.
DeleteThat's been happening for years. They know people don't notice or read the items, they just buy them. It's in the same package they are used to buying so noticing the srinkage goes unseen. They call it the bottom line, I call it BS.
ReplyDeleteYou´re not wrong about that my friend.
DeleteI eat that regularly. But it can cause lead and mercury poisoning
ReplyDeleteIn Finland we have very strick policy about things like that. Foodstuffs are inspected regulary. If there´s anything harmful substances in something they´re pulled back from customers and from crocery stores. Customer gets their money back. Don´t know if croceries get their money back. But they´re are one offs and very seldom. Summa suramum; can´t happen in here in general.
